Irwin

(Mango)

Harvest time: Mid-July to late August

Most domestic mangoes grown in Okinawa, Kagoshima, and Miyazaki prefectures are of the "Irwin" variety.

The fruit is oval-shaped, weighing 400 to 500 grams, and has a reddish peel like an apple.

The flesh is orange and smooth in texture with a lot of juice.

It has a rich flavor with a sweetness and a moderate acidity.

In particular, "fully ripe mangoes" that are harvested by falling naturally are considered to be of high quality with a strong sweet taste.

Abu Farm Kinjo's mangoes are all fully ripe and are shipped from July to August.
